The brand-new Junior School building at LORDS has become a hive of activity after the project was completed in time to welcome students for the start of the school year.
LORDS (Lutheran Ormeau Rivers District School), Pimpama Queensland, undertook the transformative construction project with the aid of a tailored LLL Loan.
We reported on the progress of the building in our most recent Together in Mission publication and were delighted to receive an update from the school.
"The project is now complete and as of the start of this term, it is fully operational," Business Manager Stuart Halsall said.
"The classrooms are the new home for our three Year 6 classes, the building also includes a huge undercroft area, staff and student amenities, offices for our Junior School leadership team, and a beautiful new staff area and kitchen overlooking the oval and the bush beyond.
"The partnership with LLL has been an integral part of creating such a wonderful building for the LORDS community."

Final touch
The Prep to Year 12 school, and kindergarten, is situated on a single, nearly 20-hectare site, about halfway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, that includes eight hectares of natural bushland that the school's more than 750 students enjoy.
While the new Junior School building is fully operational, the school will add one final touch before officially opening the state-of-the-art facility.
"We are currently constructing a new playground adjacent to the building which will be finished in time for the start of Term 2," Stuart said.
"We would like to extend our thanks for the support from LLL and look forward to working together on future projects."
