It was a Winter Carnival but the Queensland sun shone brightly on the wonderful community celebration at St Paul's Lutheran Primary School, Caboolture.
Heavy rain the night before threatened to impact the much-anticipated event, but blue skies and warm weather greeted the families and friends of St Paul's who turned out in droves to take part in the fun.
LLL was proud to support the Winter Carnival as Major Sponsor, with the event warmly embraced by the community and proving a fitting celebration of the award-winning school's 40th anniversary.
"We're absolutely thrilled; it's been a long time since we've had a carnival here," St Paul's Principal Katrina Valencia said.

"Back in 2020 was our last one and then COVID skittled that, so this is the first time for us in probably six years that we've had this.
"It's been a bit of a tough time and for our families to be able to come together … for us this is about friend-raising.
"It's not a big fundraising event for us.
"This is about helping our families to be here together, feel God's love, and just have a nice day.
"We're thrilled."

Assistant Company Secretary Rebecca and Communications Officer Jason were delighted to represent LLL at the carnival that featured live bands, rides, a petting zoo, face painting, food trucks, and fireworks.
The resounding success of the Winter Carnival was a testament to the hard work and dedication of Principal Katrina and her staff, and a fine example of the community-based projects that LLL supports through our strong missional partnerships.
"It was a real Godsend what LLL did for us," Katrina said.
"We wouldn't be doing this without (LLL).
"It means the world to us.
"It's really taken the pressure off, it's incredible, we couldn't be more grateful for what (LLL has) done."
