Construction of the highly anticipated Senior Student Hub at St Martins Lutheran College, Mount Gambier SA, progressed steadily throughout the year, with the state-of-the-art facility set to welcome students in Term 1 2026.
The visually impressive two-storey building will feature five General Learning Areas, including three that can open up to form one expansive, multi-functional learning space, staff, and a purpose-designed Student Centre that will create a hub for student engagement and support.
Built with the support of an LLL Loan, the Hub will become a central space for senior students.
"As education continues to change, the Senior Student Hub is a vital step forward in providing spaces that foster collaboration, creativity and flexible learning," Principal Alan Connah said.
"It's a reflection of our ongoing commitment to equipping our young people for success in their final years of schooling and beyond."

In addition to classrooms and breakout areas, the facility will include a forum area, a student common area with a 'heat and eat' kitchen, a new Learning and Wellbeing Centre and staff offices.
