Years of hard work and dedication culminated in the official opening of Lutheran Aged Care Albury's impressive Dellacourt site in early February.
LLL Head of Client Relationships Sam Kukic was honoured to join LACA Managing Director Wendy Rocks, as well as LCA NSW-ACT Bishop Richard Schwedes and Albury Mayor Kevin Mack at the Wednesday 4 February event.
The 122-bed facility remained operational throughout the four-and-a-half-year redevelopment that has delivered wonderful new amenities for residents and improved efficiencies for staff.

Hard work pays off
"The rooms themselves are very large, all with ensuite bathrooms, and they're very modern but cosy," Wendy said.
"This was a $29 million dollar project, but it has been so worth it.
"The finished product is beautiful inside and out and has been cleverly designed. The outside areas of gardens, courtyards and green areas uphold our reputation for lovely gardens and that is important to country people.
"Such a project requires culture and operations management that never takes it eyes off resident needs, and staff goodwill with the right amount of communication, levity when needed, and celebration of stages of achievement."

A breath of fresh air
The Dellacourt site now boasts a range of brand-new amenities including a chapel, hairdressing salon, café, a wellness centre, commercial kitchen, and a welcoming reception area.
The LLL lending team was delighted to work in partnership with Wendy, who described working with LLL as "a breath of fresh air".
"The official opening was a great event, and it was really pleasing to see just how much all the hard work put in by Wendy and her team is appreciated," Sam said.
"We've been mindful of the complexities presented by such a significant construction project, and we're pleased that our flexible approach has enabled the finished Dellacourt redevelopment to have such a resoundingly positive impact in the community."
